AI.SEE™ offers an advanced solution for automated weld seam inspection through the use of state-of-the-art deep learning technology. The defect detection system mimics the flexibility and adaptability of a trained operator - but with the consistency and speed that only AI can achieve.
The solution adapts individually to your production environment and increases precision with every detected image, regardless of component geometry and cycle time. Take your quality control in optical weld seam inspection to the next level with AI.SEE™: higher accuracy, lower error rate and more cost-efficient processes.
Macrosection during weld seam testing
3D weld seam inspection
In order for a component to guarantee targeted quality and at the same time comply with every standard, it must be subjected to precise material testing. Traditionally, the visual inspection of weld seams is often carried out manually, in contrast to production. Although the trained employee can react flexibly to eventualities, their consistency, precision and speed still depend on their daily form. For this reason, inspection by the naked eye by personnel is more prone to errors than automated visual inspection of a weld seam.
Just like magnetic particle and penetrant testing, automatic optical testing of weld seams using artificial intelligence is a non-destructive quality control method that enables more precise and faster testing through automation.
Metallographic testing is suitable when it comes to understanding the microstructure and possible defects within the weld seam. By analyzing a weld seam using metallography, information can be obtained about the grain structure, the presence of microstructural defects such as pores or inclusions, as well as phase transformations that may occur during the welding process. The linking of AI.SEE™ AI software via a retrofit with the existing microscope system allows automated microstructure and defect analyses or the investigation of heat flow zones of weld seams.

After the first screening, we will send you an invitation to our Talentcube tool. We have prepared 3-5 short questions that you can answer in a personal video (we have also prepared a short introduction video). If you don't feel comfortable with this, please let us know - we'll find an alternative!
We want to get an authentic first impression of you and at the same time have the opportunity to review your video with our team and make the right decisions quickly.
